Notice is hereby given by the City of Coconut Creek that the State Housing Initiatives Partnership Local Housing Assistance Plan’s (LHAP) For Fiscal Years 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019, and for Fiscal Years 2019-2020, 2020-2021, and 2021-2022 has been drafted and will be available to the public for review and comment between April 30, 2020 and ending May 13, 2020.
The Proposed Plan incorporates the City of Coconut Creek into the Broward County LHAP. The purpose of the Plan is to set forth strategies to increase the delivery of affordable housing within the City of Coconut Creek pursuant to Section 420,907-9079, Florida Statutes and Rule Chapter 67-37, Florida Administrative Code.
Public Comment
Citizens are encouraged to review the Draft Local Housing Assistance Plan’s (LHAP) For Fiscal Years 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019, and for Fiscal Years 2019-2020, 2020-2021, and 2021-2022 and provide comment. Copies of the Draft LHAP are available for review and comment during the 14-day comment period commencing April 30, 2020 and ending May 13, 2020. The documents are available via email, or delivered via USPS upon request. please contact dnelson@coconutcreek.net.
Prior to adoption, the City of Coconut Creek Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed Local Housing Assistance Plan’s (LHAP) For Fiscal Years 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019, and for Fiscal Years 2019-2020, 2020-2021, and 2021-2022 on May 14th, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, located at 4800 W Copans Rd, Coconut Creek, FL. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and participate.
