BCWWS Reclaimed Water Transmission Main

Broward County is currently installing a 42-inch reclaimed water main to provide service to Palm Beach County. As part of this project, the City has issued a permit for installation of the piping along NW 39th Ave from Hillsboro Blvd to the C-15 Canal. Lane closures and detours are expected as NW 74th Street will be closed at NW 39th Avenue. Vehicular traffic should travel west to Lyons Road to exit. Please be advised that Ric-Man International has begun installation of the Reclaimed Water Main System and for safety reasons this temporary traffic pattern change is required. Road closures will follow City construction hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM M-F. Work in this area is expected to take place from approximately May 18, 2020 to approximately June 1, 2020. The attached flyer was distributed to all residents in the vicinity on NW 39th Ave. For any additional information, the project information line is (877)223-8235 or the County’s Project Manager, Michael Hagerty, can be contacted at MHagerty@broward.org or 954-831-3217.

Copans and Lyons Road Lane Closures
The City of Coconut Creek will be installing a force main pipe along Copans Road from the Turnpike to Lyons Road and on Lyons Road from Copans Road to north of Sample Road. The project construction duration will be approximately 8 months (October 2020). As part of the project, there will be lane closures on Copans Road and Lyons Road. Lyons Road southbound most western through lane between Sample Road and NW 34 Avenue will be closed for 24 hours for approximately 3 months  (beginning on February 27th). There will only be one through lane southbound. Drivers should find alternate routes. Copans Road westbound between the Turnpike and Lyons Road will have a similar setup but for a shorter period of time.

Most of the work will be performed between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM and there will be instances when overnight work will be necessary. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your support and patience.
