Youth Flag Football League

  • 7 on 7 youth flag football league for ages 6 to 17 years old.
    • Jersey, shorts, and mouthpiece provided
    • 10 regular season games for all divisions
    • Plus playoff and championship (all division except U7 )
  • League Divisions: Current 2023-2024 grade will determine division or age as of September 1, 2024
    • (U7) – K & 1st Grade (Instructional)
    • (U9) – 2nd & 3rd Grade
    • (U11) – 4th & 5th Grade
    • Middle School
    • High School
  • Player Evaluations to be held the week of July 16, 2023
    • Exact date/time TBD
  • Practices to begin week of July 24, 2023
    • Practices days/times to be determined by coaches, will be communicated after teams are formed, and are subject to change based on weather and availability.
  • Games to begin Friday, August 18, 2023
    • U7 – Wednesday’s and Friday’s
    • U9 – Tuesday’s and Saturday’s
    • U11 – Wednesday’s and Saturday’s
    • Middle School – Tuesday’s and Saturday’s
    • High School – Thursday’s and Saturday’s
  • Practices to be held at either Sabal Pines Park (5005 NW 39th Ave) or George S. Gerber Park (4715 NW 30th St.)
    • TBD by volunteer coach and field availability.
  • Games will all be held at Sabal Pines Park (5005 NW 39th Ave.)
  • $110 for Coconut Creek residents; $160 for non-residents
    • The following items must be provided to qualify as a Coconut Creek resident.
      • Stated-Issued driver’s license or valid passport as identification
      • One of the following as proof of residency – water bill, cable bill, electric bill (bills to be no more than two months old), or a valid voter registration card.
  • Volunteer coaches needed:

    • Application and background screening with fingerprinting required.
    • Maximum capacity of divisions may be affected by lack of volunteer coaches which could result in registration of affected divisions closing prematurely
  • Registration Details
    • Registration opens May 1st through June 30th or until full per division.
    • Online registration or walk-in registration accepted at either the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Rd. or Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Blvd.
    • In order that a participant’s age and legal guardianship visually verified, a copy of their birth certificate may be required to be brought to either walk-in location.
