Say NO to Catch Basin Pollution—Clean Basins Soon Due to Impending Rain!
Catch basins are part of the drainage system and are essential to keep public and private streets from flooding. But they can’t do their job if they're clogged with debris and pollutants. With more rain on the way, it’s more important than ever to keep them clear. It is the responsibility of Homeowners Associations to keep the private drainage systems including catch basins clean and functional. To determine if your drainage system is private, please refer to the map in the link below:

Here’s how you can help:
- Keep it clean: Dispose of trash, leaves, and debris properly to prevent them from clogging the catch basins.
- Chemical-free zone: Never pour chemicals, oil, or hazardous materials down the storm drain/catch basin. Our catch basins drain directly to our canals and lakes. These pollutants can contaminate our water ways and harm local wildlife. Only rain down the drain!
- Pet-friendly habits: Always pick up after your pets and dispose of their waste in designated areas.
- Spread the word: Share this message with your friends and neighbors. Together, we can make a lasting difference!
Rain is coming—let’s be proactive in keeping our catch basins clean and our communities flood-free.
Thank you Creek family!
