The CERT team is composed of community-minded volunteers who are interested in assisting the city and their neighbors before, during, and after a disaster. To become a CERT member, you must attend a city-funded 5-week CERT Academy. CERT members are trained by Coconut Creek's Fire Marshal's Office and the team consists of over 100 members. Throughout the year, the CERT team assists the city with first-aid during city-run events.

How do I join CERT?

Volunteers interested in CERT should complete the following PDF forms. Candidates can click here to fill out a form or could also send an email with "CERT Member" in the subject line. Please include your full name, address, subdivision and phone number.
