Senior Fire Inspector Stevenson JeanLouis' intent was to go the law school. That was all Coconut Creek Senior Fire Inspector Stevenson JeanLouis wanted to do. In 2005, he started working at a local law firm as a paralegal and realized quickly that the field of Law was not for him. He knew he had a deep desire to serve people and turned his attention to the field of Fire Rescue and Safety. In 2009, he graduated from Miami Dade Fire Academy. Full time jobs were scarce and in order to maintain his certifications, he volunteered for different agencies. He remained a volunteer until 2015, when Coconut Creek gave him his first full-time employment opportunity in the fire safety field. He was hired as a Fire Inspector and has since been promoted to Senior Fire Inspector. His greatest hobby is spending time with his wife and 2 kids. He loves serving the residents of Coconut Creek and is looking forward to many more years of service.
Thank you, Stevenson. You help us to enjoy this great community by making sure the places we eat, live and play are safe. We’re honored that you choose to serve the residents of Coconut Creek.
