Ryan comes from a long line of first responders. Most of his family members are in the fire service. Growing up, he just always knew this was what he was going to do.
Ryan completed Broward Fire Academy as a Firefighter II in 2007, the same year he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Nova Southeastern University. He went on to graduate with an Associate of Science degree in Fire Science
from Broward College in 2012. He also obtained a Masters of Public Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2015. Upon completion of college, he volunteered with the Plantation Fire Department as a Fire Inspector and a Firefighter.
Early 2011, Ryan accepted a part time Fire Inspector position with the Margate-Coconut Creek Fire Rescue Team, which turned into a full time position later that same year. He enjoys the ongoing challenge of balancing the code requirements with the customer’s
individual needs. He likes to solve the unique problems involved in every fire investigation, plan review, and fire inspection.
Ryan enjoys serving the residents of the City of Coconut Creek. Please join us in thanking Ryan for his faithfulness and dedication to protecting and serving the residents of our great City!
