General Information

The 2023 edition of our popular 5K Butterfly Run will take place on February 5th! We are excited to continue our special Butterfly Run tradition whilst returning an experience that is familiar and enjoyable for all our participants. The 5K Butterfly Run is back at Tradewinds Park! 

The 2023 race will be limited to 500 runners! Please register early.

  • In addition, for the first time, Creek Fit is introducing a Couch to 5K training program to prepare you for the 5K Butterfly Run. More Information.

Packet Pickup Location: Recreation Complex Creek Fit North, 4455 Sol Press Blvd, Coconut Creek

  • Friday, February 4th, 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, February 5th, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Race Day, Sunday, February 6th, 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM

Race Information:

  • PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO THE RACE
  • RACE STARTS PROMPTLY AT 7:00AM.  THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO THE RACE COURSE BEGINNING AT 6:50 AM
  • Tradewinds Park, 3600 West Sample Road, Coconut Creek
  • No pets permitted on the race course
  • Strollers and walkers to the back of the start line
  • Timing is calculated from crossing the start line to the finish line
  • Registered runners only – No race day registration
  • There is no storage available for personal items
  • All are welcome to stay after the race for music, sponsor, and awards
  • A race swag bag with refreshments will be available in the sponsor pavilion after completing the race
  • Butterfly attire encouraged!
