Florida Statutes, Chapter 119 (download here), provides a right of access to the records of state and local governments. 

PLEASE NOTE:  In an effort to protect the City’s residents, employees, and visitors from the threatening trajectory of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), all City of Coconut Creek Public Buildings are temporarily closed for a period of 30 days, up through and including April 18, 2020.

HOWEVER, during this period, the City is working with a reduced staff and will still be accepting and processing public records requests pursuant to federal and state laws. 

In addition to mailing your request for records, the following options are available for obtaining public records (non-police related):

Pursuant to the provisions of Florida Statutes, the City may charge a fee for copies of records.
