Where can I park my car?
Passenger vehicles are permitted to park on a paved driveway, or within a carport, garage or screened side yard or swale area in front of owner’s home as long as it does not damage swale.

Can I have my work truck or boat at my house?
Your work truck may be parked at your house as long as the vehicle is covered with an approved cover. The commercial vehicle can not be larger then 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight or 8 feet in width or 22 feet in length. Your boat may be parked on the side of your home as long as it is screened on three sides and not larger then 22 feet in length. Check with your homeowner’s association to see if they permit truck or boat parking.

My neighbor doesn't cut his tree. Can you help?
The City cannot require your neighbor to trim the trees that overhang onto your property. You are permitted to trim any trees that overhang onto your property. Hedges in the front setback must be maintained at 30 inches or less, and behind the building/setback at 8 feet or less.

How do I get my neighbor to clean up his house?
You may contact the Code Compliance Division at 954-956-1462 or your zone officer at the phone number above. Please give us the address where the violation is occurring with the nature of the violation(s). It is very helpful if you leave your name and phone number in case we need to verify correct information and/or let you know our findings.
