Windmill Park Closed for Renovation

by Yvonne Lopez | Mar 02, 2017

The Coconut Creek City Commission approved funding in the Capital Improvement Program to renovate Windmill Park, 700 Lyons Road, during year 2017-2018. Amenities that have been permitted in this renovation project include but are not limited to: renovations to existing tennis, volleyball, basketball and racquetball courts, improvements to the dog park, themed playground, additional parking, and a fitness walking trail with exercise equipment throughout the park.

There will be no more public access to the park until the project is completed in the Spring of 2018.

Windmill Park will be closed for renovations starting Thursday, March 23.

We encourage our residents and park users to utilize our other city parks which also offer similar amenities as Windmill Park to maintain a healthy, physically fit and socially balanced quality of life.  The Parks & Recreation Department thanks you for your patience during this phase of beautification to Windmill Park.
