Calling all residents!
The city of Coconut Creek Parks and Recreation Department will hold our 40th Anniversary Celebration Parade on Saturday, March 24, 2007, rain or shine!
Parade entries will reflect the theme: Happenings through
the Decades, 1967-2007
The lineup begins at 8:30 a.m. with the parade stepping off at 10:00 a.m. from Monarch High School and will move east on Wiles Road ending at Sabal Pines Park. Spectators are encouraged to cheer on marching bands, dignitaries, local clubs and civic groups along the parade route. The parade is
approximately two (2) hours long. This is an important day for all of us and we hope you will join us for
the festivities.
Spectator Information

The parade starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Monarch High School
(5005 Wiles Road) and ending at Sabal Pines Park (5005 NW 39th Avenue).

Spectators may park in the East Parking lot at Monarch High School and
in the BLUE parking areas at Sabal Pines Park, Banyan Square Plaza or
Winston Park Elementary. No one will be able to enter the parking areas after 9:45am.

If you park at Sabal Pines Park, or in the BLUE parking areas, you are not permitted
to leave until the parade has reached completion.

Spectators parking at Monarch High School or Banyan Square Plaza, will be able to
leave when the parade passes Lyons Road and is open to traffic.

Spectator bleachers will be placed in front of Monarch High School and South of
the Sabal Pines Park entrance. All spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs
for seating and water to remain hydrated.

Viewing areas are throughout the entire parade route. Parking is prohibited along
swales and right of way.

Please note: You must enter the parking area at
Monarch High School from WESTBOUND Wiles Road as eastbound Wiles
Road will be closed to traffic.
