MONEY MAGAZINE RANKED COCONUT CREEK 48th AS BEST PLACE TO LIVE

Coconut Creek, FL- The City of Coconut Creek was ranked 48th (out of 100) by Money Magazine as the Best Place to Live.  Annually, Money Magazine ranks small cities on jobs, schools, low crime, charm, and other features that make a town great for raising a family.

“This recognition by Money Magazine is an exciting validation about the excellent quality of life we enjoy and strive for in Coconut Creek.  Being "discovered" and highlighted by Money proves to the world we are a wonderful place to live, work and play,” stated Lisa Aronson, Mayor, City of Coconut Creek.

The magazine affirms, “…there are more than 150 butterfly gardens in Coconut Creek -- it is touted as the "Butterfly Capital of the World." Locals say the insects are symbolic of the town's dedication to environmental friendliness. This commitment is seen every Arbor Day when the town gives away trees to residents, but only if they successfully complete a lesson in tree care.”

Also this year, Coral Springs was ranked 44th and Wellington was listed as 72nd.  Including Coconut Creek, these three cities are the only Florida towns honored.
