The Special Events Assistance Program is designed to help non-profit organizations produce a variety of activities that will be held in Coconut Creek. Assistance may be provided in the form of in-kind services or a grant. The special event is expected to showcase the City’s facilities and resources while contributing to the City’s image as a premier residential and business community.
The Assistance Program is grouped into four broad categories:
- Cultural Events - music, dance, art
- Parks & Recreation Events - exercise, amusements, sports
- Educational Events - ethnic, cultural, health, and more
- Business Promotional Events - showcase existing businesses and potential business opportunities
The application will be available twice per year: September & March.
The next deadline is September 1, for events taking place between October 1, 2016 - March 31, 2017.
