City elections are held bi-annually on odd-numbered years. The most recent election was held on March 12, 2013. The results of the election were: Lisa Aronson (District E) and Mikkie Belvedere (District B) were re-elected unopposed at the end of the candidate qualifying period on January 9th, and on March 12th Sandra (Sandy) Welch was elected to the Commission representing District C. The re-elected and newly-elected Commissioners were sworn into office on March 14th for a four-year term ending in March 2017.
The next regularly-scheduled election will be in March of 2015 for the Commission seats in Districts A and D.
