As always, the 2010 Summer Camp program will be offered at two locations within the City. The South District Program will
be at the Community Center (1100 Lyons Road) and the North District Program will be at the Recreation Complex (4455 Sol
Press Boulevard). The eight-week resident only program begins Monday, June 21 and ends on Friday, August 13, 2010.
The Summer Camp program is available to children ages 6 to 13. Campers must be entering the first grade or be 6 years old
before June 21, 2010, and cannot be 14 years old before August 13, 2010.
The cost of the 2010 Summer Camp program is as follows:
- Regular Care (9:00am – 3:00pm) = $675.00
- Extended Care (8:00am – 5:30pm) = $850.00
The camp registration fee includes all field trips. All field trips have been programmed for mandatory
attendance by campers and staff. No one is permitted to remain behind.
Same as last year, summer camp registration will be held on-line. Walk-in or mail-in registrations will not be
accepted. To register on-line, it will be necessary for you to log on to this website by clicking
HERE.
You will need a username and password to log on to the site. If your child has been in previous Summer Camp programs
you may already have a username and password. New resident registrations will have to create a username and password
prior to registering on-line.
To practice on-line registration we recommend that you log on to the website a few days prior to the beginning
of registration to ensure that your username and password work correctly. Although the Summer Camp registration
section will not be available, we still recommend that you log on and become comfortable with the website.
Due to limited space for each camp, all registrations will be on a first come, first served basis. Initially,
each location (Community Center and Recreation Complex) may be selected; however, as soon as the site meets the
registration limit, the remaining will default to the location that has openings. Space is limited at each camp
location, so it is highly recommended that you register as soon as it opens on-line. The first day registration
will be available is Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 6:00pm. On-line registration will close upon filling all the openings.
Fees for the Summer Camp program must be paid in full at the time of registration and can either be made using a credit
card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) or a debit card. Incomplete or insufficient registration materials will not be accepted.
Refunds for camp registration will only be granted during the first seven (7) days following the registration period
including weekdays and holidays.
Coconut Creek residency and the ages of the campers need to be verified. It is necessary for you to provide two proofs
of residency (one Photo ID and one current utility bill) and a copy of your child’s/children’s birth certificate(s)
by April 23, 2010, at the camp location your child/children are attending.
