The City of Coconut Creek Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to announce the start of the Fall Youth Roller Hockey Season at Sabal Pines Park, 5005 NW 39 Avenue.

Registration will be on Saturday, August 16 and September 6, 2008 at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, from 10am-2pm. The league will be open to children ages 6 through 15. The cost will be $60.00; however, if you are a non-resident then you must purchase a Sports Card for $60.00 which is good for the entire family. There is a reduced rate if your child intends to play as a goalie during the season. Goalie rates are only $40.00 per person and players must play goal at least three-quarters of the season.

Parents must supply three proofs of residency, a birth certificate, and proof of health insurance. If no insurance documents are presented then the family must purchase an AAU membership for $14.00.

Volunteer coaches are always needed. Paid referees are also needed to run the season. Earn $25.00 per game refereeing the league. Game schedules will be determined by the amount of applicants.
