The City of Coconut Creek Parks & Recreation Department, in cooperation with the Coconut Creek Police Department presents an Abduction Prevention Education Class for children ages 6 to 10.

The class will be conducted by the Coconut Creek Police Department on Tuesday, July 29th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Blvd. The class will include information on how to avoid strangers, abduction statistics, when to use 911 and feature interactive role-playing. The class is free and open to Coconut Creek residents only, who are 6 to 10 years old and will accommodate the first 30 children who register. The participation of the parent or guardian is mandatory.

Registration is ongoing until July 25, 2008 at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Blvd, or until 30 children have registered. For more information, please call the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580.
