The City of Coconut Creek Parks and Recreation Department is offering a FREE program for boys and girls ages 8 – 13.

On Friday, May 9, 2008 and Monday, May 12, 2008 children may participate in the Jr. Olympic Skills Competition. On May 9, 2008, basketball and tennis competition will be at the Coconut Creek Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, from 5:00P.M. – 8:00P.M. On Monday, May 12, 2008, soccer and track and field competition will be held at Hosford Park, 4422 Coconut Creek Blvd., from 6:00P.M. – 8:00P.M. Children may participate in one or all the different skill events. Individuals that qualify will be eligible to compete in the regional competitions with a chance to go on to the National Finals. A copy of your child’s birth certificate is required. Participant’s age eligibility will be determined as of August 31, 2008.
