Home Grown Concert - Oct. 12

The City of Coconut Creek Parks & Recreation Department Home Grown Concerts returns after a summer break on Friday, October 12, 2007 with a performance by Signed, Sealed & Delivered.

Signed, Sealed & Delivered will perform 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Band Shell behind the Coconut Creek Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.

Signed, Sealed & Delivered is a 3-piece band that plays Bluegrass and Standards. Bonnie Handler, a former member of the bluegrass band Southern Bred, also performs solo at nursing homes, retirement homes, assisted and independent living facilities. Dan Barrow runs the Music in the Park program at Fern Forest in Coconut Creek and Dr. Bob performs at the Broward Community College Library in Coconut Creek once a month and teaches guitar and songwriting at Northeast High School and Coral Springs Community School.

The Home Grown Concerts happens the second Friday of each month. The concerts are free to the public and begin at 7:00 p.m. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for your seating comfort. Refreshments will be available for purchase from Publix, Winston Park location.
