Creek Launches Speaker's Bureau

The City of Coconut Creek recently launched their Speaker’s Bureau. The purpose of the Speaker’s Bureau is to provide residents with qualified professional speakers on a myriad of topics. The City will match the appropriate person with the purpose of the meeting.

“We implemented this program because we want to have an educated community as it relates to government issues and programs. We have lined up the best speakers for the topics we are offering,” stated Yvonne Lopez, Public Information Officer, City of Coconut Creek.

Residents are encouraged to call 954.973.6722 if they would like a speaker at one of their events or meetings. Two weeks notice for a speaker to attend an event is required. There is no charge for guest speakers.

Topics include, but are not limited to: Butterfly Gardening, Code Compliance, Community Involvement, CPR Training, Community Bus Service, Crime Prevention Economic Development, Education Corridor, EMS & Non-Emergency Ambulance Transports, Fire Services, Hurricane Preparedness, Landscaping, MainStreet, Natural Areas Management, Occupational License Process, Parks & Recreation, Permitting Process, Public Information/Historical Records/Passports, Road Construction & Engineering, Role of City Commission/Indian Gaming/ Municipal Operations and Victim’s Services.
