The City of Coconut Creek Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the “Kids Fishing Club”.

Registration will be held from November 28, 2006 through December 29, 2006 at the Coconut Creek Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road. The club is for kids ages 4-11. The cost is $20.00 for residents and $30.00 for non-residents.

The Kids Fishing Club will take place the first Sunday of every month starting December 10, 2006. This is a guardian and child event, so the guardian must be present each time the event takes place. The fishing club will take place at different sites throughout the course of the year. There will also be fishing clinics. Each child will receive a membership card, t-shirt, chance to win prizes, and be able to show off a picture of themselves with their big catch.
