COCONUT CREEK PARTICIPATES IN PASSPORT SERVICES

Plan your travel itineraries and pack your suitcases, the City of Coconut Creek has been approved as a Passport Acceptance Facility by the United States Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs and will accept passport applications beginning Monday, October 2nd, during specific hours.
City Clerk Barbara Price, whose office will oversee the acceptance of passport applications for the City said, “We are very pleased to be able to offer this service to our residents and those in neighboring areas, particularly in light of the new regulations that will take effect January 1, 2007, which will require passports for travel to and from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda.”
Citizens planning international travel may apply for passports on Monday and Tuesday between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., and on Wednesday and Thursday between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Please note that no passport photos will be taken at City Hall; therefore, you must bring your passport photos along with other documentation and the application fee payment when you visit City Hall.
Passport fees are as follows:
Adult Passport Fee: (16 years of age and over):
$67.00 application fee payable to the U.S. Department of State (check or money order only);$30.00 execution fee payable to the City of Coconut Creek (check, cash, or money order only)
Child Passport Fee: (under 16 years of age):
$52.00 application fee payable to U.S. Department of State (check or money order or Travelers check only); $30.00 execution fee payable to the City of Coconut Creek (check, cash, or money order only)
Expedite Fee:
To receive your passport within 10 to 14 working days, add a $60.00 fee to the U.S. Department of State for each passport application.
No credit cards, foreign checks or foreign currency will be accepted.
Although application forms will be available at City Hall, you can obtain application forms, information on documentation required, fees, and a wealth of other passport and international travel information by visiting the official website for passport information: www.travel.state.gov.
