The City of Coconut Creek Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce American Sign Language for Kids.

American Sign Language (ASL) for Kids is a complete, complex language that employs signs made with the hands and other movements, including facial expressions and postures of the body. This class is for kids ages 8 to 10. Students will learn to sign basic words and expressions; they will also learn to sign a story and a song.

• Class will be held on Wednesdays, September 20, 2006 through October 25, 2006 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard, Coconut Creek, Florida.
• The cost for this program is $5.00 for residents of Coconut Creek and $10.00 for non-residents.
• Registration is ongoing until September 8, 2006.
