The City of Coconut Creek Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to host a new Arts and Crafts Month program.

On the last Friday of each month beginning June 30th 2006, through September 29th, 2006 the “Friday Arts &Crafts Team” will meet. This program will take place from 5:00pm to 6:30pm on June 30th, July 28th, August 25th and September 29th, 2006 at the Recreation Complex, located at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard, Coconut Creek.

Boys and girls ages 8 to 11 years old are encouraged to participate in this new and exciting monthly program. This arts and crafts program is filled with fun and innovative learning and application skills that each participant will be able to display through their individual works of art. Each art piece will be created utilizing a combination of mixed mediums such as clay, metal, paints, and other materials for embellishment.

Registration is ongoing until Wednesday, June 28th2006 and is open to the first fifteen participants. The program fee is $10.00 for residents and $15.00 for non-residents. For additional information please contact Recreation Complex at (954) 956-1580.
