City Collecting For Tsunami Relief

November 05, 2004

The City of Coconut Creek is collecting monetary donations to help fund relief efforts for the victims of the December 28 earthquake/tsunami that struck Southern Asia.

These donations will be forwarded to the listed relief organization of your choice. If you wish to donate to an organization not on our list, please feel free, but we will need the address of that charity for forwarding purposes.

Donation boxes are available during business hours at the following locations: [click here for map]

  • City Hall, 4800 W. Copans Road

  • Police Department, 4800 W. Copans Road

Coconut Creek Recreation Complex (at the Fitness Center desk), 4455 Sol Press Blvd

Rowe Community Center 900 NW 43 Avenue


* Please designate your funds to "Tsunami Relief" in the memo portion of your check.

These donations are tax deductible. Your cancelled check will serve as your receipt. The City is unable to provide receipts for cash donations.

Cash donations will be distributed equally among the listed charities.
